Stress seems to be the recurring theme in my life lately. It’s been a little hard to concentrate on playing Zelda or Wii Bowling lately because of my trip to Canada… this Friday! Yes, I go to Canada this Friday and will hopefully come back next Thursday. I spent all Sunday, Monday night and this evening getting all my papers together. Basically almost everything about me, from diplomas, transcripts, passports (new and old), tax returns, pay stubs, immigration approval notices, etc., are going to be with me. Some of them originals… the rest copies. All of these things are held together in 1 folder which I’m going to be carrying around in a backpack. So yeah, that folder is something that I’m going to keep my eye on at all times. The future of my life is in that bag. Sure no copy is as good as the original, but I plan on making copies of everything and leaving 1 copy with my bro and the other at work.
What do I need all those documents for? Well it’s for my interview with the US consulate this Monday. Honestly, I’m scared that I didn’t bring some obscure document with me… but so far I’ve read that things have gone smoothly. In fact, according to one guy’s post,
Looks like they WANT TO gove you the visa, unless YOU make some foolish mistake and are not prepared well OR as I heard and read from many, you are stuck for name check and all. ALmost evryone got visa on that day, even those with complicated cases and even those who did not know thw basic rules… Again, there is absolutely no need to worry (I worried a lot, almost dropped the idea of going to Vancouver a night before).
OK so, nothing to be worried about right? Wish me luck again. Hopefully this will be easier than getting my Canadian visa. -.-
On a lighter note, I gotta find some warm clothes and stuff to keep me dry! I just checked weather.com and it’s around 50°F and raining. Sigh. I’ll have to stop by REI or something just to find what I need.
Argh, I’m built for the tropics damn it! I’ll take none of this 50°F crap.
