Mother went back home last Saturday and you can say I got a little preview of what’s to come in the next few months… namely travelling to Canada and the Philippines. There are so many things to take care of… namely filling out tons of paperwork, finding a cheap flight and a place to stay. BTW, cheap flight… oxymoron. I’ll be bankrupt by the time summer comes around. Next week, I have to stop by the Canadian Consulate in LA to get my Canadian Visa. Then mid-April, I have to fly to Canada for an appointment with the US Consulate to get my US visa. The scary part is that there’s a chance I’m denied of my US visa, which means I can’t go back to the US! That means I’m screwed! Having my US visa means I’ll be able to keep travelling outside the US, which is perfect because come June, I have to fly to the Philippines for Joyce and Juno’s wedding.

Now if you’re a US citizen… just think how lucky you are. You can travel wherever you want (provided you have the money)… you don’t have to worry about standing in line to get a visa for each country you go to. Getting in and out of any country isn’t a problem. Ugh no fair!

Now between April to June is going to be busy as well. Let’s see, I have to finish my taxes in the next few weeks. Then there’s the whole MouseAdventure thing I have to get prepared for in late April. Then I still have to work out the details of Juno’s bachelor’s party way before May. Ugh so not looking forward to these coming months. I’m already stressed out as it is.

Oh speaking of stress, I rear ended a priest today on my way to work. Umm.. shuttup, there are no sexual connotations here! It was 10am, I was entering the freeway and didn’t notice the meter was red and that there was a car stopped by the limit line. Next thing you know… boom! Crash. But seriously, so many things went wrong. First of all, it was Daylight Savings Time (need I say more?). But I have this suspicion… why would the meter be running at 10am!? There’s no traffic on the 5 FWY. It’d be running because the meter didn’t take into account DST kicked in and must’ve thought it was still 9am. Secondly, the on ramp to the 5 was like a 180 degree turn, so I couldn’t know there was a car stopped by the limit line. Lastly, I didn’t notice the meter was on! FFFUUUUCCCK!

The priest wasn’t hurt, thank god, and he was pretty nice about the whole thing. At first he gave me this disappointed look which almost broke my heart but in the end we were shaking hands. He spoke only spanish so I finally put my spanish to good use. Mr. Mock, my spanish teacher, would be so proud that I worked the whole thing out in spanish. haha! BTW, did I tell you that priest was driving a Chrysler 300? It had bluetooth and he was actually using it to connect to his cellphone. Yup, his car rang while I was getting his info. He’s one hi-tech blinging priest. hehe!

But after all that it finally hit me. Crap, I have to pay for the damage to his car and mine. I was totally pissed off this morning. There goes my laptop fund or whatever. lol. Moral of the story? Get rid of Daylight Savings Time. Who’s with me?!

As a recap… (priest, canada, us visa, mouseadventure, bachelor party, philippines) = bankrupt. Mierda puta madre fucking shit.
