My classical radio station has turned into country! And you know what? I don’t mind it. Driving around old town tustin with country music in the background sort of feels right.
Anyway, it’s been a while since I’ve really blogged. I blame it on work and the move. Oh yes, the move! Here’s what the apartment looked like the first day we moved in:

Junk everywhere but at least we moved the important stuff. Bananas, XBOX, PS2, cleaning wipes. We also had to get rid of some of the old furniture because they were just… old. No one wanted it so we sort of just put them in the dumpster. I felt so guilty for not donating it. oh well.. I’m over it.

Thankfully most of the junk has been cleared up. I said most… not all. Seriously we’re lacking storage space here. We only realised we didn’t have storage space when we moved in. Seriously! Like a day or two after we got the key we were like… “omg there’s no coat closet!” yeah, for some reason we thought there was a coat closet to put all our shit in. so now stuff like the vacuum cleaner is in plain sight. hmm some other thoughts about this apartment. quality isn’t that great. we got a notice saying that they had to replace our shower sliding doors cause it’s made of glass and breaks easily. well duh! then last week we got a letter saying that they had to do something to the wood vinyl flooring to make it easier to maintain. they also had to replace our washer and drier cause it’s messed up! oh and this is a good one. so I signed up for this auto-debit programme with the apartment… basically i give them my checking account number then they automatically deduct rent every first of the month. anyway i get a confirmation letter this week basically saying thank you for “signing up… blah blah blah… we’ll deduct $300 every first of the month.” $300?!?!? omg I wish my rent was only $300. the good samaritan in me called in and reported the error. i think resident services knows me too well already after the countless times i’ve called them (trust me there’s more but I thought i’d just mention the big ones). and lastly, i don’t think management knows how to proofread:

“we be closing” for fuck’s sake! proofread! yeah I don’t proofread but that’s cause I don’t care about my shit. but they should! ok well despite all that I gotta say I’m pretty happy living here anyway. commute to work isn’t bad at all.. i come home, relax, watch tv. oh and did i say there’s a lot of hot guys over here? there was this little Oscar party going on last Sunday and my goodness.. just hot guys everywhere. ok i’m exaggerating.. there was just a couple.. but hey the good thing is that we all live in the same place. hehehe ::evil grin::
speaking of that Oscar party, I just found out we have a little movie theatre within the complex! awesome! it only seats 46 people so it’s not huge but it still feels like a movie theatre. last time i’ve been in something like that was back in high school and urban legends was playing. mind you urban legends isn’t that scary, but it’s a totally different experience if you watch it all alone. man i remember walking around the theatre every couple of minutes to make sure no one was going to chop my head off.
I’m sounding a little childish tonight eh?
Anyway! Home stretch folks! I just read from Mr. Perez hilton that…
“Yes, that photo of Daniel Radcliffe with the horse where you see his peepee is fake.
However, a British pal of ours saw the Harry Potter actor in his opening night of Equus and has this report on Dan’s dingalong:
“The frank was not impressive at all, but the beans were. He kept pulling on it [his dickydoo] when he had his back to the audience. Bless his heart! He has bigger balls than I do! You could not pay me to do that!”
Wow.”
Wow indeed.
