yes i thought about getting a mini before but that would mean i’d still have to dish out $400+. soy pobre so i’ll stick with the free flyakite for now.

eventually i’ll still get a mac goddamn it… if it’s the last thing i do!

sigh.. i’m also thinking about ditching the taskbar.. gonna give it another day or so. but if i get rid of it, it won’t be as easy to forget that I’m using XP. sigh. What a predicament.

actually it’s not noticably bad. i think it’s just another windows theme, not really an OS X emulator.

Now what really slowed down my computer is the RK Launcher (that little taskbar thingy at the bottom).. specifically those animations when you minimize/maximize a window. however things became better once I disabled the animations.
