I always mistake Brokeback Mountain for Bareback Mountain. I guess it shows what’s been on my mind lately. You know they’re going to come out with a porno with that title, just like Shaving Ryan’s Privates and Monty’s Python and the Holey Grail. But speaking of Brokeback Mountain, don’t forget release date in the US is December 9. It’s the same day The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe comes out. Too much excitement, I think I’m going to have a heart attack!

Oh and I finally watched La Mala Educación (Bad Education)! I’ve had this DVD since forever and only managed to watch it last Sunday. I think I kept pushing it back because I thought it was a really dark film. I was wrong. I mean priests molesting kids isn’t a light subject but Almodóvar didn’t make it into this big drama thing. It’s a good movie overall but doesn’t manage to beat Hable con Ella (Talk to Her) and Todo Sobre mi Madre (All About my Mother). You really can’t go wrong watching one of Almodóvar’s film. I just love Almodovar’s style, it’s the colours, the scene transistions, and of course the stories he tells. I should probably do a Almodóvar marathon one of these days.

So it’s WinXP with the whole Aqua theme! Isn’t that awesome?? I just installed this thing called FlyakiteOSX. There are still a couple of bugs but I don’t mind them. I just love the whole look and feel to it. I don’t think I’m even going to change the wallpaper since it’s just so mac.

- (BMW 3 series commercial plays in the background) Oh yes! October issue of Car and Driver is out. They did a comparison between the BMW 330i, Lexus IS 350, Infiniti G35, Acura TL (?), Audi A4 3.2, some car from Cadillac, and some car from Saab. Anyway, the results are pretty much in the order I listed the cars in (BMW first – Saab last). No surprise there. I’m really happy that the BMW got first, but am still bummed that Lexus didn’t win. It really seems more of a practical car than the BMW.. and it’s much faster too! Car and Driver said its 0-60 is 5.1s!! SHIT! I wonder what the BMW 335i will be like.

- Now here’s the one and only time I’ll mention anything related to Katrina. I spoke to my lawyer today who’s from Slidell, LA (about 30 miles from New Orleans). She’s pretty much the only person I know from around there. Her house survived, but the windows in the attic broke and water came in from the top causing the ceiling to drop to the second floor. That really sucks! I’d also ask you guys to donate but I haven’t donated yet.. so I won’t push it.
