Before anyone starts saying “damn! I wish I had known about that shit! I would have totally gone!!” again I’m going to say this months in advance.. so no excuses! Jesse, being a big Toyota fan, told me today that Lexus is having their own driving event on November 12/13 at El Toro. It’s called Taste of Lexus and despite the cheesy name it’s going to be an interesting event. Why? Cause of the new IS350. The specs for the new IS are pretty damn good. It’s definitely much better than the current IS in terms of styling and performance, so you might want to hold off if you’re thinking about getting an IS300 (hint hint). Considering I’m not a big japanese car fan (despite my current car being a Toyota) that’s saying something. And as I speak, about 2500+ miles away from here I sense Lilly Dee having a panic attack!
Jesse says that it’s strictly a Lexus event so no chance of trying out the competitors. 
Too bad since it’d be nice to try it out against the e90. Anyway, I really want to go. You guys should too but you gotta register to get in so don’t forget!

what’s even better is that they’ll let you push the IS350. I doubt they’ll yet do that in when you test drive at the dealer. Hey let me know when you’re going! We should all go!
